2013 Doctoral Scholarships in Computer Science and Communication Systems in UK
School of Computing and Communications, Lancaster University offers six doctoral scholarships in the field of computer science and communication systems. UK, EU and overseas students can apply for this scholarship. Awards will be made on the basis of academic excellence. The application deadline is 1st March 2013.

2013 Transform Together International Scholarships at Sheffield Hallam University in UK
Sheffield Hallam University offers Transform Together Scholarships for pursuing postgraduate and undergraduate degree level. International students can apply for this scholarship. The scholarships include a one-year full tuition fee waiver for full-time taught postgraduate courses and 50% tuition fee discount for each year of an undergraduate course (subject to successful progression). Scholarships will only be available for direct recruitment. Sponsored students/applicants from partner institutions are not eligible for these scholarships.


Study Subject(s): Scholarships are for all full-time postgraduate and undergraduate taught courses offered by the university.


Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing postgraduate and undergraduate degree level.

Eligibility: To be eligible to apply for one of these scholarships applicant must:


-postgraduate only – have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in his/her honours degree and must meet the minimum course entry requirements. Please attach transcripts to scholarship applications.


-undegraduate only – student must achieve or exceed the entry criteria for the course.


-have an unconditional/conditional offer to study a full-time postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University.


-be enrolling on a one year full-time taught postgraduate course with Sheffield Hallam starting in the 2013/14 academic year.


Scholarship Application Deadline: Scholarship applications for taught courses starting in September 2013, must be submitted by 30th June 2013. Scholarship applications for taught courses starting in January 2014 must be submitted by 1 November 2013.

2013 Master’s Scholarships at University of Liverpool in UK
ARM Ltd and the University of Liverpool offers masters scholarships at University of Liverpool in UK. The students of India can apply for this scholarship. One or two scholarships are offered for the MSc(Eng) Microelectronic Systems (preffered) or MSc(Eng) Microelectronic Systems and Telecommunication. The application deadline is May 2013.


Study Subject(s): Scholarships for Indian students are offered for the MSc(Eng) Microelectronic Systems (preffered) or MSc(Eng) Microelectronic Systems and Telecommunication.


Course Level: This scholarship is available for pursuing masters degree level.

Eligibility: Scholarships are open to students holding an offer for the MSc(Eng) Microelectronic Systems (preffered) or MSc(Eng) Microelectronic Systems and Telecommunication at the University of Liverpool’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics for Sept entry. Applicants should have:


-First class BSc, BE or BTech degree in a relevant subject (ideally Computer Science with a good background in computer hardware)


-Multi-disciplinary interest in Computer Science and Electronics engineering


Notification: Short listed candidates will advance to a telephone interview with a senior ARM engineer in July 2013. Selection interviews will be held at the offices of the University’s representatives in India in May/June 2013.
