Expedite expansion, beautification of Hazratbal Shrine: CM

Srinagar, Feb 24: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sunday visited Hazratbal Shrine and directed Waqf Board to expedite its expansion and beautification. 
 Omar Abdullah who is also Chairman of Waqf Board directed early formulation of the expansion plan so that it could be discussed in the next Waqf Board meeting.
 ďIn order to facilitate devotees and make surroundings of Hazratbal Shrine more beautiful, a well planned expansion programme is the need of the hour. He asked Waqf Board to take early action in this regard,Ē CM said.
 The CM also paid obeisance at the shrine and prayed for peace and development of Jammu and Kashmir.
 The Minister for Rural Development, Ali Muhammad Sagar, Vice-Chairman Waqf Board, Prof. MY Qadri were present on the occasion.
