Awareness camp on central schemes held at Harwan
Srinagar, Feb 2: An awareness programme on various central schemes was held at Harwan area here on Saturday.
The programme was organized by an NGO Aash in collaboration with Urban Development Agency Kashmir (UDAK).
In a statement, the organizers said on the occasion a seminar was held to make local populace aware about the schemes launched by UDAK under its Swaran Jayanti Shehri Rozgar Yojna (SJSRY) project for the urban poor.
They said the seminar was attended by over 200 locals. The speakers apprised them about the procedures to take benefit of these schemes to make them self employed.
Among the guests present on the occasion were, Director JK Bank RSETI, JK Bank Lead district manager, Zahoor Ahmad Tantray, Counsellor and deputy director Counseling Centre, Raffia Farooq and assistant project officer UDAK Jehan Ara.
