JKLF (R) to observe 'Hafta Maqbool Bhat' from Feb 4

Srinagar, Feb 2: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) has decided to observe 'Hafta Maqbool Bhat' from February 4, to commemorate the 29th martyrdom anniversary of Muhammad Maqbool Butt being observed on February 11. 
“The programme will be started on February 4, from district Anantnag (Islamabad) where protests will be held at district level.  On February 5, the programme will be observed in district Pulwama. On February 6, a public meeting will be held in district Budgam. On February 7, programme will be held in district Baramulla and on February 8, rallies will be held in district Bandipora; on February 9, at Sopore and on February 10, at local offices in district Kupwara.  On February 11, complete shutdown will be observed and rallies led by Front leaders taken out,” said a spokesman of the Front in a statement today. “Besides, protest programmes will be organized on February 11, in Muzaffarabad, Rawalpandi, Islamabad and Arab and European countries,” he said.
