Kiran Prasad launches PAWWA website
Jammu, Feb 2: The Chairperson Jammu and Kashmir Police Wives Welfare Association (JKPWWA), Kiran Prasad launched the website of the associationwww.jkpwwa.org at a function held at Police Officer Mess here today.
While launching the website, Mrs Prasad said that JKPWWA has been working for the welfare of the families of police martyrs and has been raising funds to rehabilitate these families. She said that various schemes are in force for the welfare of the families of martyrs including free education for their wards.
Deliberating on the aims of the website, Mrs Prasad said that the website would facilitate the next of kin of the martyrs (NOKs) to get ready information about the schemes being introduced for their welfare. She said that suggestions with regard to bring improvement in the working of the association could also be sought from the viewers.
Among other, the function was attended by DGP, Ashok Prasad, ADsGP, K. Rajindra Kumar, Dr. Ram Lubhaya, S. P. Vaid and Navin Aggarwal, IsGP, V. K. Singh, Dilbag Singh, A. K. Choudhary, Syed Javaid Mujtaba Geelani, A. G. Mir, M Sulaiman Salaria, Dr K. K. Saini, Alok Puri and Muneer Ahmed Khan and other police officers.
