DLP chalks out programmes for Hafta Shahadat
Srinagar, Feb 5: As a part of its Hafta Shahadat being commemorated to mark the martyrdom of JKLF founder Maqbool Bhat, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Liberation Party today held a meeting at its central office here under the chairmanship of Hashim Qureshi, chalking out the programmes for the week.
“On February 5, the Party held meeting at it central office where speakers threw light on different facets of Maqbool Bhat’s life. On February 6, the Party will release the cassettes containing speeches of Maqbool Bhat. On February 7, the Party will organize Quran Khawal and hold a meet with orphans. On February 8, a prayer meeting will be held. On February 9, the Party will hold seminar at Hotel Ahdoos. On February 10, prayer meetings will be held at district levels. The February 11, will be observed as black day,” a DLP spokesman said.
Speaking at the today’s meeting, Hashim Qureshi paid glowing tributes to late Maqbool Bhat and reiterated the pledge to translate his dream of independent Kashmir—from Gilgat Baltistan to Lakhanpur.
