SHD holds Vet camp

Srinagar, Dec 31: Sheep Husbandry Department Baramulla organized a free veterinary camp under SWIS at Watergam, Wagoora. About 3000 animals were treated free of cost at the camp.
Dr Altaf Hussain Kakroo, District Sheep Husbandry Officer gave a brief resume of the sheep related activities going on in the district.
About 65 sheep units have been established under various schemes in the district so far and about 240 elite rams have been introduced in the flocks for improved productivity, an official statement said. Laboratory investigation of animals was also conducted by the disease investigation lab Srinagar.
