NC has strong secular credentials: Rana
Jammu, Jan 12: Political Advisor to the Chief Minister Devender Singh Rana said that history of the state is testimony to the strong secular-democratic credentials of National Conference and the sacrifices it has made to uphold the cause of communal harmony, brotherhood and amity are glaring.
“National Conference has always stood for the high principles of secularism, brotherhood and democracy and shall continue to do so in future as well. The equitable development of all sections of the society has remained the benchmark of National Conference since its inception and the present coalition government under the leadership of Omar Abdullah continues to work towards that objective,” Rana said addressing a gathering at Ghorda in Block Bhalwal here.
“The detractors of democratic process have always tried to damage and defame National Conference but utterly failed in their nefarious designs as the people of the state always stood with the National Conference showing their utmost trust and faith in the party and its leadership and foiled all such attempts of the propagandist elements”, said Rana.
Dr Bashir Ahmad Veeri MLC said National Conference has always stood for the high principals of secularism, brotherhood, democracy and equitable development of all sections of the society.
