Budgam youth stage protest

Budgam, Jan 14: Hundreds of protesters in this central Kashmir Town staged a protest on Monday against the recent killings of Shia Muslims at Quetta in Pakistan.
Expressing solidarity with those killed in the recent attacks in Quetta, protesters marched from Imam Bargah to Main Chowk Budgam chanting Slogans of “Labbaik Ya Hussain (AS)” and “Quetta We are With You” demanding justice and security for Muslim minorities in Pakistan.
The March was mainly led by youth and students with no organization or party sponsoring the protest. “We have assembled here to express solidarity with innocent people who were killed in Quetta blasts on Thursday and there is no party or organization sponsoring or leading this protest. We are doing this on a personal level” said Muhammad Yaseen , a student from Budgam.
