KCC awareness camps held

Budgam, Jan 15: A number of KCC awareness camps were organized by Department of Agriculture in collaboration with J&K Bank and Revenue Department.
 The camps were held at Soibug, Arth, Astanpora and Darmunna. 
 A large number of farmers including Punchs and Sarpunchs participated.
 Branch head J&K Bank and senior officials of the Agriculture and Revenue departments were present.
 During the camps, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Budgam said that all farm operating families will be brought under Kissan Credit Card Scheme.
 The farmers were educated about the implementation of the scheme.
 On the conclusion of the camps 425 Kissan Credit Cards were distributed among the farmers.
