G H Mir calls on Governor
Jammu, Jan 18: Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan here on Friday, an official spokesman said.
He said during their meeting, the Governor and the Agriculture Minister discussed the to date implementation status of various schemes underway for enhancing the productivity of Agriculture and its allied sectors and the measures being taken for providing high yielding variety seeds, fertilizers and other agricultural inputs to the growers for enhancing agri-productivity and production in the State.
DGP CALLS ON GUV
Meanwhile ,Director General of Police, Ashok Prasad, called on Governor N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan here last evening, an official spokesman said on Friday.
He said a the DGP briefed him about the threats received by Sarpanchs and Panchs and the measures being put in place to deal with the obtaining situation.
GOC 26 Infantry Div briefs Guv
Maj. Gen. Ashwani Kumar, GOC, 26 Infantry Div, called on Governor, N N Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here on Friday.
During the meeting, the GOC briefed the Governor about the overall security situation in the area of his responsibility.
