Unjust comparison
This refers to ‘The Menace of Tuition Centres’ wherein the author has emphasized relation between growing crimes against female folk and the mushrooming of tuition centres which defies logic when analyzed from a general perspective. Coaching centres are proliferating in every nook and corner of the valley without side effects as underlined by the author. The sub standard infrastructure in place is a worrying factor, but associating education imparted in coaching centres with growing crimes is also irrelevant. Are not crimes against female students occurring in other parts of the valley where we have scarce presence of coaching centres. Uneven and uneasy growth of coaching centres may be an issue, but citing two cases and generalizing a particular situation without a context is problematic.
