DG ERA INSPECTS REHABILITATION COMPLEX
Srinagar, Jan 1: Director General, J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA), Khalid Muzaffar on Wednesday reviewed the progress of work on rehabilitation complex for displaced shopkeepers of Jehangir Chowk-Ram Bagh Expressway corridor.
On the occasion, the Deputy General Manager JKPCC informed that construction of 90 shops and 30 godowns at Jehangir Chowk Rehabilitation Complex (JCRC) has been completed and work on approach road to it is under execution and will be completed soon.
Later, DG ERA conducted site inspection of the rehabilitation complex. Several shopkeepers of the central market called the DG ERA and apprised him of the problems confronting them. The DG ERA appealed them to vacate two shops falling on the approach road at Jehangir Chowk so that hassle free access to shopping complex is ensured.
