Hurriyat (M) condemns firing on people at Pulwama
Srinagar, Jan 1: Hurriyat Conference (M) on Tuesday strongly condemned, what it said, another incident of firing by the armed forces on civilians at Pulwama.
In a statement, a Hurriyat (M) spokesman alleged that the forces once again resorted to firing on peaceful demonstrators at Pulwama in south Kashmir on Tuesday, injuring a number of civilians.
“The armed forces operating in Jammu Kashmir are brazenly inflicting the atrocities and injures on civilians and are enjoying impunity under draconian laws,” said the spokesman.
He urged the international human rights organizations to take a serious note of the atrocities being perpetrated on people of Kashmir by the armed forces and exert pressure on New Delhi put an immediate halt to these inhuman acts in Kashmir.
