‘PDD fails to repair transformer’
Srinagar: Residents of Ladoora Rafiabad are up in arms against the Power Development Department. They allege that the PDD has failed to repair a transformer which developed technical snag 10-days ago.
A delegation of residents told Greater Kashmir that Umer Colony in the area is reeling under darkness for the past ten days due to “lackadaisical” attitude of the PDD.
“Transformer installed in our area developed technical snag 10-days ago. The PDD officials took it for repairs and assured us that transformer would be reinstalled within two days, but till date nothing has happened and our area continues to reel under darkness,” they said.
