AWCR delegation calls on Revenue minister
Srinagar, Jan 19: A delegation of Azad Welfare Committee Rawalpora (AWCR) met Minister of Revenue & Rehabilitation Ajaz Ahmad Khan and apprised him about non- implementation of a Cabinet order by divisional administration from last four years.
The delegation said the government order vide number 55Rev/NG/of 2008 , dated 23-05-2008 has given regularization of occupancy rights in favour of illegal occupants of Shamilat/ Kahcharai land situated at Rawalpora.
Since then the divisional administration according to the AWCR is not implementing the Government order.
During the meeting, the AWCR spokesman said the minister assured the delegation that matter would be look into. The delegation thanked the minister for his assurance.
