Gulmarg Ski Cup concludes

Srinagar, Jan 22: The 3-day Gulmarg Ski Cup organized by the Directorate of Tourism concluded at Gulmarg on Tuesday.
 Around 120 competitors in different age groups in both boys and girls sections participated.
 The first three winners were awarded the medals while the members on the technical committee were presented award of honour mementos for their services rendered to the tourism department in making the event a success.
 The Chief Executive Officer, Gulmarg Development Authority and Vice-President WGAJK was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Dr Ilyas Nasir, Asstt Director Tourism Gulmarg was guest of honor.
 In age group 2000-2001, Ansiya and Muskan bagged first two positions in grls section while as in boys section Zamin Rashid, Shoib Malik and Zakir Hussain bagged first three positions respectively.
 In age group 1998-99, Kabra Altaf, Zehwa and Sabiya Nabi bagged first three positions respectively in girls section while as Baqir Hussain, Kashif Shafi Bhat and Muhammad Ibrahim bagged first three positions in boys section.
 In age group, 1996-97, Aabida Khan and Zarnaib bagged first two positions respectively in girls section while as Azlan Asad, Ishfaq Ahmad Bhat and Waseem Ahmad Bhat bagged first three positions in boys section.
 In age-group 1993-95, Sayed Haniya and Qudsiya Altaf bagged frst two positions respectively in girls section while as Bilal Ahmad Shiekh, Bilal Ahmad Bhat and Ishfaq Ahmad Magray bagged first three positions respectively.
 In senior category, Mahajabeen Akther, Maleeha and Yasmeen Akther bagged first three positions respectively in girls section while as in boys section Zamyang Namgyal, Thinla Norbu and Mehmood Ahmad Lone bagged first three positions respectively.
 The Tourism Department is going to conduct Ski Coaching camp for the probables of forthcoming National Junior and Sub Junior Alpine Ski Championship in first week of February.
