DYSS 1st ski course concludes
Srinagar, Jan 24: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) first snow ski course of the season concluded at Gulmarg on Thursday.
In the course, around 60 boys from different parts of the Valley participated in basic, intermediate and advance level categories.
On the concluding day examination of the participants was held.
In Basic slalom, Zahid Ahmad Bhat, Mudasir Ahmad Wani and Baker Amin Ganai bagged first three positions respectively while as in Basic technique, Suwaid Shaheen Khan, Naveed Ahmad Dar and Baker Amin Ganai bagged frst three positions respectively.
In intermediate, technique, Reyaz Ahmad Lone, Muhafiz Ahmad Lone and Firdous Ahmad Sheikh bagged first three positions respectively. In Inter-Mediate, Slalom, Firdous Ahmad Lone, Reyaz Ahmad Lone, Firdous Ahmad Shiekh bagged first, second and third places respectively.
In Advance, Technique, Sayib Javed Rather, Tashif Bashir and Syed Junaid bagged first three positions respectively while as in Advance, Slalom, Sayib Javaid Rather, Basit Aftab and M. Rafique Pandit bagged first three positions respectively. The course had started on January 10.
