People harassed ahead of Jan 26: Hurriyat (M)
Srinagar, Jan 24: Hurriyat Conference (M) has strongly condemned, what it said, “the harassment, arrest, torture and frisking” of innocents across Kashmir ahead of January 26.
“Those who claim to be democratic are using force to break the will and determination of Kashmiris,” a spokesman of the amalgam said in a statement.
He said the way political rights of Kashmiris are usurped and their freedom is trampled upon by using force is an eye opener for the international community in general and democratic countries in particular.
