Zaffar welcomes UN statement
Srinagar, Jan 24: Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement chairman Zaffar Akbar Bhat today welcomed the UN statement that its military observers in Kashmir could be terminated only by a decision of the 15-nation body.
In a statement today, Zaffar castigated government of India for its proposal in Security Council on the removal of UN Military Observer Group in Jammu and Kashmir that, according to him, had vital role in keeping peaceful atmosphere.
