JKTA,hoteliers pained over Pahalgam hotel damage

Srinagar, Jan 25: J&K Tourism Alliance (JKTA) has expressed deep anguish over the damage caused to Pahalgam hotel in a fire incident on Wednesday morning.
 The JKTA members at a meeting held under the chairmanship of its secretary general, Hilal A Dar expressed solidarity with the management of hotel.
 Notably, the owner of Pahalgam hotel is the active and found member of the Alliance.
 All the JKTA members unanimously decided to support the management to help them in immediate reconstruction of the gutted building.
 They also appealed the authorities concerned to give immediate permission to the hotelier for its reconstruction.
 Meanwhile, chairman, JKTA, Nasir Shah, who is in Nagpur presently, has expressed deep anguish over the gutting of the hotel which he said was a heritage building.
 He said the entire tourism fraternity is sharing the grief of the owner Narinder Singh and his family.
KHARA anguished
 Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Association has expressed anguish over the fire incident at Pahalgam hotel in which the hotel lost a block.
 “This is a great loss to tourism sector. We are deeply saddened by this fire incident,” said KHARA President Showkat Chowdhary.
 Chowdhary has appealed the tourism minister to allow the hotelier to rebuild his hotel.
 “Tourism and other departments should not put any hindrances in the rebuilding of the hotel,” said Chowdhary.

 Pahalgam Hotel and Restaurant Owners Association has expressed grief over the gutting of Hotel Pahalgam in a blaze recently.
 At a meeting with its president Javaid Burza in chair, the members expressed grief over the gutting of hotel.
 “The president and members of the Association made a fervent appeal to the government to allow reconstruction of heritage Hotel.”
