2 COMMIT SUICIDE
Srinagar, Jan 26: Two persons, including a girl, committed suicide in separate incidents by consuming poisonous substance in Kashmir Valley, police said on Saturday.
A police spokesman said a 25-year-old girl swallowed some poisonous substance at her home in Bundgam village in central Kashmir’s Budgam district last night. She was shifted to Public Health Centre at Soibugh for treatment where she breathed her last.
In another incident last night, Arif Ahmad Bhat, 22, consumed some poisonous substance at his home in Sagam village in south Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) district, police said.
He died on way to hospital, they said.
