Kiran Bedi to give scholarship cheques to Aryans students

Srinagar, Jan 26: Dr Kiran Bedi, India’s first woman Indian Police Service (IPS) officer would meet Aryans students in Srinagar and Jammu on January 28.
 Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh said that Aryans Group would organize “Scholarship Mela” exclusively for JK students on January 27 in Hotel Surya Excellency at Jammu and Hotel Jahangir in Srinagar.
 He said selected students would get Scholarship cheques from Dr Kiran Bedi on January 28 in Jammu and Srinagar.
 The students, he said, need to register themselves on 098762-99888, 098765-99888 or on www.aryans.edu.in.
 He said that Dr. Bedi would preside over the scholarship ceremony in Gandhi Bhawan, Kashmir University, Srinagar at 11:00 AM on Jan 28 and the Guest of Honour would be Dr Talat Ahmad, Vice-Chancellor, Kashmir University. He said hand the function would start at 1:00 PM in Jammu at Press Club, Jammu.
 BS Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group of Colleges said that under this scheme, scholarships are given purely on Merit-cum-Means basis and it will be partly financed by the bank, party contributed by the student and funded by the College.
 Students selected under scholarship would study in different courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, Nursing, Polytechnic etc.
 Eligible candidates would be allotted January 2013 or July 2013 batch according to their eligibility.
