Siraj is chief spokesperson KEA

Srinagar, Jan 28: The Kashmir Economic Alliance has appointed Siraj Ahmad, hotelier, as its chief spokesperson.
At a meeting held under the chairmanship of Showkat Chowdhary, Siraj was appointed as Chief Spokesperson, KEA statement said.
“In absence of the president Muhammad Yasin Khan and Vice President, Iqbal Tramboo, Showkat Chowdhary was requested to chair the meeting,” it said.
“It was unanimously decided that Siraj Ahmad shall hold the post of Chief Spokesman besides being the chief advisor of KEA. It was entrusted upon Siraj Ahmad to maintain a close liaison with the media fraternity so as to highlight the concerning issues faced by the public in general and trade in particular,” statement reads.
The meeting was attended by Farooq Ahmed Dar, JK Central Contractors Co-ordination Committee , Bashir Ahmed Bashir, New Kashmir Fruit Association, Sheikh Muhammad Yousuf ,Kashmir Mini Bus Transport Federation, Showkat Chowdhary ,Kashmir Hotel and Restaurant Association, Muhammad Yousuf ,Tourist Taxi Operators Association, Mohammad Sidiq Ronga , JK Good Transport Companies Association,, Siraj Ahmad ,Founder Member of the alliance.
