DHSK organizes medical camp at Soiteng
Srinagar, Jan 2: Directorate of Health Services Kashmir (DHSK) in collaboration with Army held a mega medical camp under project Sadhbhavana-XV at Government Girls Middle School, Soiteng Vethpora here today.
District Health Officer, Dr. Gazalla Tabasum supervised the camp while as Director, Health Services Kashmir (DHSK), Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman inaugurated the camp.
In a statement a spokesman of DHSK said on the occasion, ENT, ophthalmology, gyane and dental specialists examined the patients.
“Need of the hour is to reach with medical kits at the doorsteps of the needy population. I appeal the community to come forward and get their patients registered for Cataract Surgeries and ENT cases to enable the department to hold more camps,” Director Health said.
On the occasion, free medicine was distributed among the patients. Around 400 patients were benefited during the camp, the statement said.
Lieutenant Colonel, Rashid Ahmad assured full support in order to deliver proper health care, delivery kits at their doorsteps.b
