KCC camp held

Srinagar,Jan 2: Department of Agriculture in collaboration with J&K Bank organized a Kissan Credit Card awareness camp at Khanmoh, here.
Large number of farmers participated in the camp.
During the camp Chief Agriculture Officer Srinagar G M Rather said that 100 per cent farm operating families will be brought under Kissan Credit Card Scheme.
He directed the officials of the department to coordinate with Bank & Revenue authorities for successful implementation of the scheme at ground level.
During the camp farmers were educated about the implementation of Kissan Credit Card Scheme.
In the camp 60 Kissan Credit Cards were distributed among the farmers, which involved an advance of Rs 60 lakh.
