Budget presentation on Mar 6
LA Issues Provisional Calendar
Jammu, Jan 30: The Assembly Secretariat Wednesday issued the provisional calendar for the forthcoming budget session commencing here from February 28, 2013.
According to the calendar, there will be total 26 business days and the budget shall be presented on March 6. The session will begin with the Governor’s address on February 28 and followed by discussion on Motion of Thanks on the Address on 1, 2 and 4 March. The Government Business will be taken on March 5, 25 and April 2.
The Budget 2013-14 also called Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure will be presented on March 6. The discussion on the budget will be held on March 7, 8 and 9. The Demands for Grants will be taken on March 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20 and 22, 2013.
The Private Members’ Resolutions will be taken on March 26, and 30 while the Private Members Bills will be considered on March 28 and April 1. Similarly the Appropriation Bills will be taken on March 23.
