SHOOT FEW SCENES, SONG IN GOLF COURSE

Srinagar, Jan 30: After taking a day off from their busy shooting schedule, the Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone Wednesday resumed their shoot in the snow clad tourist destination Pahalgam in south Kashmir.
According to sources, the duo Ranbir and Deepika shot a few scenes and a song for the Ayan Mukherji’s Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani in Pahalgam Golf Course.
The film, which is due for release on May 31, also star casts Aditya Roy Kapur and an Indian actress of French descent, Kalki Koechlin. Besides others, Kalki is also touring Kashmir for the film.
Khawar Jamsheed, a local line producer for Karan Johar’s Dharma Production said the Director of the film, Ayan Mukherji surveyed different locations in Pahalgam including Aru, Chanderwadi and Pahalgam Village with him before starting the shooting.
Meanwhile, the film crew is staying at Hotel Pine and Peak at Pahalgam. “It is a good for our tourism sector that Bollywood has once again started shooting here in the picturesque locales of the Kashmir Valley. It will boost our economy which can help in a long way in solving the problem of unemployment,” said Asif Burza, Director Hotel Pine and Peak.
Shahrukh Khan and crew of Jab Tak Hai Jaan movie which was shot in Kashmir also stayed at Hotel Pine and Peak.
Pertinently, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had hosted a dinner for the film crew of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani at Khyber Resorts on the conclusion of their shoot in Gulmarg.
