Taj for better patients care at B&J hospital
Srinagar, Jan 30: Minister for Medical Education Taj Mohi-ud-Din today visited Bone & Joints Hospital, Barzulla here and made on-the-spot assessment of patient care and facilities there.
On the occasion Taj directed face-lifting of the hospital complex and asked the Medical Superintendent to ensure that patients are facilitated at every level. The Minister expressed dissatisfaction over the level of sanitation in the hospital and asked the hospital administration to put in efforts to maintain cleanliness, particularly near theatres, wards, and corridors.
He said the Government would provide more facilities, including financial assistance, to the hospital so that its functioning is improved and patients don’t have to go outside for treatment.
