Eligibility criterion

The ICAR under its directives issued vide ICAR No: - 23 (46)/2010- EQR (Edn) dated: - 26-12-2011 has issued the eligibility criteria for the selection of candidates on various types of posts in Agricultural universities in India. The ICAR has fixed the minimum eligibility for appointment of Assistant professors as the candidates should be first class in his Post Graduation in the concern subject with NET as compulsory along with one publication in NAAS rated journals. The SKUAST-K nullifies the NET thereby discouraged the intelligent and competent. It is requested that ICAR directives may be implemented in letter and sprit with full weightage to NET as per directives.
