Kupwara Bar holds elections, Malik elected President

Srinagar, Jan 4: The Kupwara Bar Association after holding elections to the posts of officer bearers has elected Advocated Bilal Ahmad Malik as its President.
 He was elected to the post unopposed for a term of two years whileas Advocate Farooq Ahmad was elected as Vice- President.
 With the declaration of Malik getting elected unopposed, former Bar President Advocate Ghulam Ahmad Bhat felicitated Malik. While Congratulating Malik, he expressed faith over the ability and competence of Malik being young and dynamic.
 “We’ll uphold the dignity and honor of the Court. Our effort will be to provide free legal aid to poor and needy. This is not that I have been elected to this post but in fact these are the responsibilities which I have to shoulder honestly and sincerely”, said Malik.
