Tangmarg,Kunzar SSA teachers without salary
Tangmarg,Jan 4: A section of government teachers working under Sarva Shikhsa Abiyan (SSA) at Kunzar and Tangmarg are without salaries for past many months.
"We have been running from pillar to post to get our salaries released. We were told by top education officials that SSA has separate officers to look into these matters. We fail to understand if we perform our duties in same schools where our other colleagues perform, then with regard to our salary matters why we are given the step motherly treatment" a group of SSA teachers told Greater Kashmir.
When contacted, Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Abdul Rouf Shahmiri, said there was some general problem of salary with SSA and the SSA matters were tackled by separate wing but even though they have been managing it by arrangements from other components so that teachers may not face problems, “We hope the said problem will be solved soon,” Shahmiri said.
