11 shops gutted at Batmaloo

Srinagar, Jan 5: Atleast 11 shops were gutted in a fire incident at Batmaloo area here last evening.
A police spokesman said the fire broke out at Reck chowk, Batamaloo,resulting in complete damage to 11 shops. Fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders and local police. Police has registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile, MLA Batmaloo Irfan Shah has expressed sympathy with the affected persons and urged the Government to provide monetary relief to them.
