ANC remembers G M Shah
4th death anniversary
Jammu, Jan 6: Awami National Conference (ANC) on Sunday paid floral tributes to former Chief Minister of J&K and founder of ANC, GM Shah on his 4th death anniversary at party headquarter in Gandhi Nagar here. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Gian Singh, provincial president ANC said that Shah throughout his life, remained affectionately committed to his people, always shared their pain and endeavored to mitigate their sufferings. The fourth death anniversary of the founder-president of ANC and former Chief Minister, Ghulam Muhammad Shah, is being observed throughout the State to pay homage to one of the greatest leaders in the history of JK ever, he added.
He said that on this occasion, people of the state recall the singular contribution of Shah Sahib who, alongside the towering leader, late Sher-i-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah, spared no sacrifice to bring the state out of the morass of subjugation under the ruthless autocratic rule.
