Mirwaiz grieved
Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Sunday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of Qazi Hussain Ahmad and said that Pakistan has lost a great leader.
In a statement, Mirwaiz called the demise of the religious leader a personal loss. He said the passing away of Qazi Hussain was a great loss to humanity in general and Muslims in particular. “Pakistan has lost a great leader,” Mirwaiz said.
While paying rich tributes to late Ahmed for his stand on Kashmir and contribution to Islam and society, Mirwaiz said: “Late Ahmed and I shared a close relationship and had direct contact with each other. I was greatly impressed by his principles and religious character,” he said. “I pray to Almighty Allah to give patience to the bereaved family and to place the departed sour in heaven.”
