PDP activists stage protest in Kargil
Srinagar, Jan 6: People Democratic Party unit Kargil organized a protest demonstration under the leadership of party office bearers Advocate Ghulam Murtaza, Kacho Gulzar Hussain Khan, Haji Muhammad Qasim, and Najaf Ali, a PDP spokesman said in a statement.
He said the protest was against the ďincompetence and failureĒ of the State Government on all fronts. The leaders highlighted the local issues like air service, extension of Kargil airport, power crisis ,unemployment and illtreatment of passengers at Leh airport during the IL service.
The organizers marched to the DC office from the party HQs.
Hundreds of youth participated in the march despite intense cold conditions and presented a memorandum to the DC.
