Darakhshan visits Hayatpora

Hayatpora (Budgam) Jan 7: Socialistic Democratic Party President Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Monday conducted a door-to-door tour of this central Kashmir area and apprised herself of the problems of the people.
In her address Andrabi slammed the district administration and the local political representative for deliberately keeping the villages backward to pave way for the political exploitation of the masses. “Propaganda of development of Khansahib is all baseless and it gets defeated at the ground level when one sees the condition of the roads, water shortage everywhere and very poor electricity network in the villages. “
She alleged that the local administration was playing in the hands of the local political representatives.
