Bijbehara Sports Club seeks affiliation
Srinagar, Jan 8: Bijbehara Sports Club has urged the president Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Dr Farooq Abdullah to consider its affiliation with the Association.
“The meeting, attended by members and players, was held under the chairmanship of G M Mehrab called for affiliation of BSC to JKCA” Secretary of BSC said in a statement.
He said despite the fact that the Club produced many talented cricketers including the current Ranji trophy Coach of J&K, Abdul Qayoom and Parvez Rasool who was recently selected for India A team.
“But unfortunately we are not affiliated to JKCA .We therefore request JKCA president Dr Farooq Abdullah to look into the matter and take appropriate action in this matter,” the secretary said.
