Army organizes medical camp
Srinagar, July 13: Mashkoh Warriors of Dagger Division organized a medical camp for locals at Naugam in Mawar Valley.
In a statement a defense spokesman said 209 patients, including women and children were examined by a team of five doctors.
“The Army facilitated movement of sick and needy villagers to the medical camp. Some needy locals were also provided with blankets and other assistance,” the statement said.
DDC Islamabad reviews development works
Islamabad, July 13: The District Development Commissioner,Islamabad Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone today visited various areas of Islamabad town and took stock of ongoing developmental works.
Dr Lone visited Khanabal area and interacted with people and enquired about basic amenities being provided to them by the District Administration.
The DDC also visited Khanabal-Pahalgam road where he took stock of ongoing macadamization work on K.P. Road. He emphasized upon the concerned officers and agencies to speed up the macadamization work and also stressed upon the agencies to maintain transparency.
A deputation from Khanabal area called on the DDC and apprised him about their problems and demands.
Dr Lone assured the deputation that all the problems and demands would solved in a phased manner on priority basis.
