6 suspects arrested across Kashmir: Police

Srinagar, July 17: Six suspects were arrested in two separate operations in Kashmir Valley, police said on Wednesday.
Abdul Rouf Badder and Zaffar Iqbal Badder, both residents of Amrohi village, were intercepted by a police team after they were noticed moving under suspicious manner near a cab stand in Kupwara district town, a police spokesman said.
Their search led to the recovery of two hand grenades and some suspicious powder, he said.
Meanwhile, forces busted a militant hideout at village Larnoo in south Kashmir's Pulwama district and seized 75 kgs of Neo Gel 901, eight detonator plates, 500 grams of RDX powder, three bottles of potassium permanganate, a bottle of fine aluminium powder and 16 fuse conductors, he said.
No one was arrested in connection with the recovery, the spokesman said.
