Dominant Khazir Royals outplay Surya Risers

Srinagar, July 17:  Coming up with another dominating performance, Khazir Royals on Wednesday outplayed Surya Risers in the match of 92. Big FM-J&K Corporate Premier League at Boys Higher Secondary School, Bijbehara ground.
Both teams had won their previous matches comfortably and it was being hoped that clash will turn out as thriller. However, Khazir Royals had some other plans as they completely outplayed Risers. In the match Royals defeated Risers by 46 runs.
Batting first Royals scored a decent total of 156 runs for the loss of nine wickets in allotted overs. Jehangir Bhat with 56 was highest scorer for them while as Imran Haroon scored 27, Jaleel Bhat scored 18 and Rahil Singh scored 15 for them. For Risers, Rompy Sharma and Nitin Mehra took three wickets each while as Ian Dev Singh took one.
In reply, Risers were bundled out for 110 runs in 18.5 overs. Sandeep Singh with 21, Ashwini Bhat with 17 and Pranav Gupta with 13 were the notable scorers for them. For Royals Arshad Sheikh was phenomenal in bowling taking three wickets for 13 runs in his three overs. Manzoor Wadoo and Vijay Dogra took two wickets each.
Arshad Sheikh was adjudged as HDFC man of the match while as Jehangir Bhat bagged TCI Maximum sixes award.
