Rohit stars in Saifco Lions dominating win
92.7 BIG FM-J&K CORPORATE PREMIER LEAGUE
Srinagar, July 18: The six wicket burst by Rohit Sharma handed Saifco- Lions an easy win in the 92.7 Big FM-J&K Corporate Premier League match against Surya Risers at Boys Higher Secondary School, Bijbehara on Thursday.
In the match, Saifco Lions defeated Surya Risers by 33 runs. Batting first Saifco Lions scored 145 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted overs. Bandeep Singh with 47 was highest scorer for them while as Puneet Singh scored 37 and Fayaz scored 23. Nitin and Saurabh took two wickets each for Risers.
In reply, Surya Risers could not stand in front of Rohit Sharma’s fiery spell of bowling bundling out for 112 runs in 18.3 overs. Nitin with 19 was highest scorer for them while as Rompy Sharma scored 17. Rohit took six wickets while as Suhail took three. Rohit Sharma for his brilliant bowling was adjudged as HDFC man of the match while as Bandeep Singh bagged TCI Maximum sixes award.
