Yasir becomes ‘Google Student Ambassador’
Srinagar, July 19: Yasir Zahoor Rather, student of CT Institute of Engineering, Management & Technology Jalandhar has been selected as the “Google Student Ambassador.” Yasir will represent CT Group of Institutions for the upcoming academic year.
Presently Yasir is studying B Tech CSE (2011-2015) from CTIEMT Jalandhar, a CT Group handout here said.
The ‘Google Student Ambassador’ program is designed to create awareness among students about the latest Internet tools and technologies from Google, so that they can significantly enhance their productivity and be at the forefront of cutting-edge information & technology, it said.
The Google Student Ambassador will act as a liaison between Google and the institution that the student represents, it said.
“The Ambassador is expected to plan and host a few events during the school year, introduce fellow students to new Google products and technologies, and act as campus contact for Google teams,” it said.
