CRPF refutes allegation
Srinagar, July 21: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has refuted that its troopers ransacked houses in Zainkote area of Srinagar, as alleged by Hurriyat Conference (G) in statement on Saturday.
“There were controlled efforts to ward off certain agitating public in front of a CRPF camp located near Zainkote wherein no force was used and the news report appeared on the contrary is manifestly spurious. No damage or destruction whatsoever has been caused to any of Masjid or residential houses in the vicinity during the action,” CRPF PRO said in a statement.
