Ahmad Hospital starts brain tumor surgeries
Srinagar, July 4: Ahmad Hospital, Nowgam has started brain tumor surgeries with prominent neurosurgeon Dr Muhammad Afzal Wani operating upon a patient from Pulwama, who after recovery has been discharged in a healthy condition, the hospital people said.
They said the surgery was performed jointly by Dr Wani and Dr Javaid Naqshbandi, who is Assistant Professor at GMC Srinagar. “The duo was assisted by Dr Gazalla Karim Khan and Dr Bashir Ahmad,” a hospital handout said.
“Many tumor and Spinal Surgeries have been performed in this hospital including Transphenoidal Pituitary Surgery,” it added.
Ahmad Hospital people said they were committed to provide best of the healthcare facilities to the people of Kashmir.
