KCSDS aghast over arrests
Srinagar, Mar 12: Kashmir Centre for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS) has condemned what it termed unwarranted arrests and detentions of the activists and youth throughout the Valley.
A KCSDS spokesman demanded an immediate release of all those boys and activists who are lodged in police stations and jails.
The civil society group also called for stopping the use of pepper gas grenades and pellet guns to control the crowds and allow people's peaceful protests.
“Pepper gas has been used for collective punishment which has already resulted in the loss of precious lives and huge clinical problems to a large number of citizens,” she said.
