Star Club clinches trophy
UMAR MEMORIAL T20 CRICKET TOURNAMENT
Srinagar, Mar 12: The T20 Umar Memorial Cricket tournament final was played between Star Club and Nizamia Cricket club Surankote on Tuesday. Star Club won by 59 runs.
After winning the toss, Star Club decided to bat first and scored 184 runs. Chasing the target, Nizamia Cricket Club were bowled out for 125 runs only.
For Star Club Asif scored 64 runs and Nazir took three wickets. Asif was declared man of the match with 64 runs and one wicket. Bilal was declared man of the series with 233 runs and 7 wickets in total. Waheed was declared man of the tournament with 130 runs and 13 wickets in his pocket and both of them are from Nizamia Cricket club.
T20 Umar Memorial Cricket tournament was organized by Pradesh Youth Congress under the leadership of its President Muhammad Shahnawaz Choudhary at Surankote. A total of 20 teams participated in knockout series.
