Man dies,4 injured in accidents
Srinagar, Mar 17: A man died while four others were injured in road accidents across the Valley since Saturday evening, police said on Sunday.
A police official said Bashir Ahmad Dar son of Muhammad Subhan Dar of Muniwar Islamabad (Anantnag) died when a fast moving vehicle hit him near Wanpoh Islamabad on Sunday.
A Tata Sumo (No. JK03A/5133) hit and injured Shazia Akhter, 26, daughter of Qasim Shah of Kamliwan, Nagabal near Seer Hamdan in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district. She was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, a Tipper (No. JK01F/1994) rammed into an electric pole near Ahan in north Kashmir’s Ganderbal district resulting in injuries to three persons who were traveling in the vehicle.
