TAAK felicitates Kumar,Shah

Srinagar, Mar 17: Travel Agents’ Association of Kashmir (TAAK) has felicitated Farooq A Shah as Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar.
President TAAK Rouf A Tramboo hailed the government decision posting Shah as DDC Srinagar.
“Shah as DDC Islamabad and earlier as Director Tourism has done tremendous work for development and promotion of tourism in the state,” he said.
He said as DDC Srinagar “we expect that Shah would work for the development of city and promotion of tourism.”
He said Shah who is known as tourism guru in the state, during his tenure as Director Tourism promoted Kashmir tourism all across the world. “We hope he would pay special focus on tourism related infrastructure in Srinagar so that the tourists coming to Valley return satisfied,” he said.
Rouf also hailed posting of Shailendra Kumar as Div Com Kashmir. “We hope the Div Com Kashmir would help promote tourism sector in Kashmir.”
“We also expect that the Div Com Kashmir as well as DDC Srinagar would address the issues of the tourism players in Kashmir and promote Valley tourism in a big way,” he said.
