JK faces 3rd straight defeat

Srinagar, Mar 20: JK suffered third straight loss in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy - North event going down to Delhi by 17 runs at Tata Energy Research Institute Oval, Gurgaon on Wednesday.
Batting first, Delhi lead by Virender Sehwag scored 133 runs in allotted overs for the loss of six wickets on a slow turning track. For Delhi, Milind Kumar with 40 and J Anand with 34 were highest scorers. For JK A Rasool and R Dutta took three wickets each.
In Reply, JK were able to score only 116 runs in allotted overs for the loss of nine wickets. Bandeep Singh with 32, Parvez Rasool with 26 and MK Dogra with 20 were highest scorers for JK. For Delhi R Bhatia took three while as P Awana and V Tokas took two wickets each.
It is third straight defeat for JK in the event as they were beaten by Services and Punjab in earlier two matches played.
